Jag föddes , samt har sedan debuten försökt skriva rolig, fantasieggande samt tankeväckande underhållning för unge, ungdomar samt barnsligt fullvuxna personer . Jag besitter skrivit ovan böcker; kapitelböcker, bilderböcker samt tecknade serier. Jag besitter även skrivit manus mot två julkalendrar för teve och ett för radio, till tre andra teveserier och mot tre långfilmer. Ofta besitter jag arbetet ihop tillsammans författaren samt tecknaren Johan Unenge, dock även tillsammans med andra tecknare, t ex Amanda Eriksson. Jag äger hela tiden besökt flera skolor, ibland tillsammans tillsammans med Johan Unenge (kontakten tillsammans dem jag skriver ifall och på grund av är således oändligt viktig) och jag berättar gärna om känslor och älskade. Mina maximalt kända bokserier heter Eva & Adam, Hotell Gyllene knorren, Bosse & Bella samt Fotbollstvillingarna.

Janet Garton is Emeritus Professor of European Literature at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, where she taught Scandinavian Literature and Languages from to She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge, whilst also taking courses at the Universities of Oslo and Copenhagen. She was made an MBE in , was awarded Fritt Ords honnørpris in and became Ridder av Den kongelige norske fortjenesteorden in

Her books include Jens Bjørneboe: Prophet without Honor (), Norwegian Women’s Writing () and a biography of Amalie Skram: Amalie. Et forfatterliv (). She has edited five volumes of Amalie Skram’s correspondence, and written various articles about her. She has also been active as a translator, most recently of Kirsten Thorup (The God of Chance, ), Johan Borgen (Little Lord, ), Erik Fosnes Hansen (Lobster Life, ) and Jan Kjærstad (Berge, ). In she is resident in Copenhagen as a guest researcher at the Society for Danish Language and Literature.
